WOMEN'S FEET
Women
have about four times as many foot problems as men. Lifelong
patterns of wearing high heels or other fashionable but restrictive
shoes are often the culprit. Find out more
here.
Tips
for Women
- Pantyhose or stockings should be correct size and preferably
free of seams.
- Do not wear heeled shoes that exceed two inches for extended
periods of time (or you may experience foot problems such
as metatarsalgia, a chronic pain in the ball of the foot).
- Try fashionable “walking pumps,” with athletic-shoe construction,
wider toe room and reinforced heels.
